The Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival

If you liked the sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Friday night at the Strawberry Festival is the place to be.  CCR was a dominate band in the ‘60s with its music still remaining a rock radio and movie soundtrack staple.  After CCR disbanded in 1972, founding members of CCR and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford remained close over the years.  They decided to launch their Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995 to once again perform live in concert the hit songs that became touchstones of a generation.  Since then they’ve been playing classics like “Susie Q”, “Who’ll Stop the Rain”, and the classic of all, “Proud Mary”, throughout North America, South America, New Zealand, Europe, Asia and now, right here, on stage, at the Strawberry Festival in Crawfordsville, IN.  You don’t want to miss this chance to hear some great classic rock from a classic rock band.  Friday night WILL ROCK at the Strawberry Festival!

Close your eyes.  It’s a June Saturday night.  Let your mind drift to a warm and sunny place with the soft sound of the ocean in the background.  What songs would come to mind?  Maybe “Margaritaville”?  How about “Cheeseburger in Paradise”?  Well, you may be in Crawfordsville in June but you can still hear these songs and many more as the Strawberry Festival proudly brings you Bluffett featuring The Son of a Sailor Band with a 100% live-on-stage tribute to the legendary Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band.  A great fun, all-ages, crowd pleasing show with the key word being FUN.  The amazing look and vocals of Larry Pearson will have you convinced you have been transported to “Margaritaville”.  The Strawberry Festival is proud to add this great show to our long list of great festival entertainment.
